AFDA can provide your school with individually designed physical education lessons and simple key stage assessment methods which meet Ofsted requirements. We specialise in implementing age appropriate sports and physical activities to ensure that young children are given the correct support and guidance in order to develop their understanding of the importance of physical activity.
To accommodate schools on a tighter budget, we can also offer our highly-rated parent pay sessions which can take place at breakfast, lunchtime and after school. Parents of children who attend your school who opt into these sessions pay us directly, usually by the term at a cost of £3.50 per hour session. Whilst we use the school premises, we take away the burden of reporting and assessment by liaising directly with parents, once the client base has been established.
It would be our aim to work collaboratively with the school’s PE Coordinator/Sports Coach to deliver exciting, fun and engaging activities and to provide each school and their learners with an individually catered package to raise participation levels and help contribute towards a healthy lifestyle.
Boasting a strong team of sports coaches, we aim to raise attainment, achievement and aspirations of young people by learning through high quality physical education, sport and competition. Within our practical coaching sessions, we incorporate cross curricular links with core subjects such as Maths, English and Science.
AFDA ensure that our school partners and children are provided with the highest quality sports provision to help raise and sustain standards of PE and sport in schools within and beyond the curriculum. AFDA offers sports provision and support at breakfast, lunch time and after school, as well as during holiday time.
For schools who are in a position to pay for school sports provision, AFDA charge £25.00 per hour per coach. This includes setting up and packing away. We usually work on a 1:16 ratio so that each child receives quality coaching as well as maximum attention to ensure adequate progression and development.
