BTEC Level 3 Sport and Coaching

Study a reputable BTEC course equivalent to 3 A-Levels whilst playing competitive football 4 times a week!

Launched in 2014 the Advanced Football Development Academy offers learners the opportunity to develop their football skills under the guidance of former Leicester City players.

Our 2-year academic programme will allow you to play competitive football in the English Colleges Football League each week, as well as receiving daily football training from our qualified coaches.

Wrapped around the football development programme is a reputable education programme with an excellent support structure to help you achieve a BTEC level 3 extended diploma sports qualification, which would prepare you for AFDA’s Higher education programme, University, Employment, USA Scholarship or even, for those good enough, into professional/semi-pro football.

Our highly qualified sports lecturers will deliver a minimum of 12 hours BTEC Sports content per week and cover units such as Sports Psychology, Anatomy and Physiology, Sports Nutrition, Sports Development, Coaching, Technology in Sport and much more.

All education will take place in our well-equipped, modern, full-size classrooms. Both classrooms are equipped with individual student laptops, interactive white boards and essential teaching and learning resources.

We work in partnership with OFSTED accredited provider, Brighter Futures. This allows us to maintain a consistently high standard across all areas of our programme.
